Logos
Creating logos is one of my favourite aspects of design. I thoroughly enjoy the process of carefully considering every detail—colour schemes, themes, target audiences, and the practical applications of the logo. Each design presents an opportunity to weave symbolic meaning into a visually appealing and functional image. Whether the tone needs to be playful or professional, simple or intricate, I relish the challenge of crafting a logo that truly embodies its purpose.
Designing logos is both an art form and a problem-solving exercise, and I find great satisfaction in bringing creative concepts to life.

Posters, Flyers and Leaflets
I have been designing leaflets and flyers since the late 90s, starting with the first version of Corel Draw and evolving alongside design software ever since. Here, you'll find a selection of posters, flyers, tickets, and cards I’ve designed in recent years for a variety of clients and projects, showcasing my passion for creating eye-catching, effective visual communications.

Acrylic Art
When time allows, I love painting with acrylics, embracing bright, vibrant colours that seem to define my style. I've always had a passion for colour, and painting feels like the perfect medium to express it. After spending so much time working with digital media, it’s refreshing to break free and lose myself in a canvas away from the screen.
Nature is my favourite subject, and I feel my graphic design background subtly shapes my approach. I have a deep appreciation for geometry in nature and often use a golden ratio ruler or a compass to guide my compositions. Sitting with a bright palette, I find joy in contemplating and celebrating the beauty of nature’s design.

Photography
Photography has been a passion of mine for years, offering a chance to immerse myself in the beauty of the world around me with just my camera. I love capturing moments and then enhancing them at home with photo editing software to bring out the story I’m trying to convey. Over time, I’ve explored various photo editing tools, but Photoshop has always stood out as my favourite.
I shoot in RAW on a Nikon D7000, which gives me the flexibility I need for editing. For more spontaneous moments when I don’t want to carry multiple lenses, I rely on my Panasonic DC-FZ82 for quick, portable snapshots. However, my trusty Nikon remains my favourite, bringing me the most joy and satisfaction in my photography journey.

Video
Here’s a recent video I created for my emu egg sales page, using the DaVinci Resolve video editing suite.
I’ve also produced videos for Bridport Bounces Back, a live event organised by a friend and me during the post-Covid recovery period. For this project, I live-streamed all the performances to Facebook, ensuring those unable to attend in person—whether due to Covid concerns or a preference to avoid crowds—could still enjoy the event.
I've also recorded video content for Harmony Mental Health. I've created video content for Bridport Folk Festival too.

https://www.emu.services Utility and ease of navigation were the pre-requisite design features for this website, its primary focus serving as an expansive source of specialist information for the global community of emu keepers.

Desktop Publishing
Managing the creation of the Bridport Folk Festival program required adaptability and precision, with constant timetable changes and tight deadlines. The ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work ensured the program reached the printers on time and ready for the festival.
Proficiency with Affinity Publisher has been developed over several years, applying its capabilities to various projects, including a book on emu keeping and research papers on emu breeding behaviour.
Experience in publishing began at Pulse magazine in Nottingham during the late 1990s, where the fast-paced, ever-changing environment became a strong motivator and a perfect fit for a detail-oriented and creative approach to work.
